Time is just slipping away. It doesn’t even make sense. Where does it go? I need more time. Feel free to send some my way….. many hands in many different projects.
Really though, I dream of situations like this. Happy to be busy. Here is what is (musically) taking up my time : producing, composing, engineering a film score with uncle milosh, shows with MN+RH, new CM+WA EP and tour merchandise, many upcoming shows with CM&WA + MNSS, commercial music, producing new DATL recording, starting work on album production with KS. Many more things starting soon. SO MUCH MUSIC!!!!

The spring’s transition in to summer has been wonderful and full of adventure and music. Sorry things have been slow with the updates here at getmcmahon.com. More to come… I’ve been collecting media to share. I’ve just been under-motivated to spend time staring at this screen. Playing guitar and golfing is just so much more attractive. Here are some photos from my travels as of recent.

Spent four days this week in the studio with Cameron working on the new record. The first two days were at a new place in Madison called Blast House Studios. A fantastic facility with great gear, accommodations and lighting. Next, we moved to Milwaukee for a couple days with Justin Perkins at his new studio, which is very cozy. I’ve worked with Justin on different projects for a lot of years now and he continues to be one of my favorite people to be in a studio with. Always productive and fun. Our friend Adam Plamann was able to join us for a couple of the days to add some of his magic sounds on clarinet and saxaphones. Cameron and I went to town adding more guitars keyboards, and vocals. The end is in sight…. Here are some videos.

Just returned home from a great weekend of shows with Miles Nielsen. Thanks to Iowa City, Rockford and Viroqua for your support and hospitality. Viroqua is a mysterious place….the driftless region… something is in air. I suggest checking it out on your next weekend or holiday.
More shows with Miles this coming weekend in Madison and Crystal Lake.

If you look to your right, you will see that I have added an audio page. If you click the link you will be able to sample some of the instrumental pieces I have written and recorded. More development to come in this section of getmcmahon.com

Here is a video of some friends and I playing a Cheap Trick song. Enjoy.
